Job description

I am currently on the lookout for a dedicated Continuous Improvement Professional to help drive, implement and embed customer experience improvement projects and initiatives for a FTSE 100 Organisation, where you will support the ever growing change and continuous improvement team in the delivery of measurable and sustainable efficiency improvements.

You will form as part of the wider Programme function where you will be part of a small lean team across a portfolio of projects. The position involves playing an active role supporting senior stakeholders and in addition manage/leading a small team who will partner with and support the projects team in managing Continuous Improvement deliverables across a portfolio of projects.

The role will suit a proactive, motivated and results-driven individual that is looking for exposure and career development within a fast-paced organisation.

The Role:

  • Drive implementation of live continuous improvement projects or initiatives
  • Manage large, complex deliverables or full project work-streams through to completion
  • Actively promote a continuous improvement culture that has sustainable strategic impact on operational performance & business KPI's
  • Identify and facilitate projects, work streams & programmes to drive change in processes to hit agreed business targets by working with performance analysts
  • Plan initiatives and ensure resources, cost, risks, issues, assumptions & dependencies are fully identified, including an assessment of all potential benefit and dis-benefits
  • Provide updates, reports and stage gate reviews inputs with support as defined in the governance model and agreed within individual projects
  • Facilitating, driving and coaching peers and colleagues on Lean working, change and continuous improvements.
  • Lead and develop capability in the business, ensuring they understand the overall strategy along with their part in achieving this.

The candidate:

As the ideal candidate for this role, you will have the following experience;

  • Previous change management experience with experience in the implementation of customer focused business change and initiatives.
  • Ideal but not necessarily, you will be trained in LEAN and/or Six Sigma (or similar change methodology).
  • Experience of project related problem solving within a complex business environment - agile deliver would be an advantage.
  • Experience in Coaching and Mentoring and a high degree of emotional resilience and intelligence.
  • Previous experience of change management and/or business readiness experience and proven experience of delivering sustainable change including people change projects.
  • You will demonstrate the ability to drive analysis, reporting and insights to contribute to making informed business decisions
  • Proven experience working with large teams to realise benefits and sustain change and strong leadership skills with experience of working with a strong unionised environment.
