SAP D&TS Group Finace Applications Manager

I am currently looking for an experienced SAP D&TS Group Finace Applications Manager to join our customer on a permanent basis.

The purpose of the role is to manage a wide variety of Group Finance Applications for Finance, Treasury, IFRS Compliance and Planning as the primary contact point for IT support. The role will include engagement with external vendors and Compass Group businesses globally.

Responsibilities:

* Provide guidance and leadership to the Business, Vendor, Support and Project teams

* Ensure that all systems have onsite support at agreed times

* Actively identify and communicate areas where skills gaps present a risk to supporting business as usual

* Ensure the support teams actively resolve TopDesk incidents/defects to the best of their ability

* Draft and distribute support related communications to appropriate stakeholders when required

Core Skills & Knowledge:

• Experience with ERP connected financial applications (Treasury, Indirect Tax, Financial Planning and Reporting) Specific systems knowledge is desirable not mandatory - e.g. Quantum, Aptitude ALAE, Anaplan.
• Experience with SAP ECC 6 / S4 FICO & Treasury
• MS Office & Sharepoint
• Knowledge of Group Finance business processes (Accounting, Treasury, Financial Planning, P2P)
• Proven experience supporting ERPs and connected financial applications

Functional Skills & Knowledge

• Experience in conducting design workshops, designing solutions, and producing documentations for relevant configurations and functional specifications.
• Knowledgeable of project delivery cycles according to PMP or Prince 2 methodology.
• Experience within the area of Change Management, Stakeholder Management and Business Support
• Internal & External Treasury: Treasury design, processes, change management and implementation, relevant SAP areas (e.g. FI, CM).
• Experience of FX payment processing and XML files (nice to have)

Track Record

• Practical experience in a 2st or 3nd line technical support role
• Practical leadership or project delivery experience
• Organised, logical and methodical, flexible person with a deadline driven working manner and an attention to detail and accuracy in both written and spoken English
• Self motivated and able to work autonomously and within and leading a team

Salary - £60,000 - £65,000 per annum
