I am recruiting for a newly created Finance Business Partner role, within a global luxury retail brand in London. This is an incredible opportunity for someone progressive, analytical and forward thinking to join this particular finance team at an exciting time of change and development.

As a Finance Business Partner you will have end to end responsibility for the Global Partnerships channels including forecasts, reporting and month end accounting. You will be a key business partner to the Head of Partnerships in UK and US, providing analysis, and insight to help to drive key commercial decision making.
Key Responsibilities

● Responsible for the preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts for Global Partnership channels through accrual reviews, journal postings and 3rd Party Logistic Partner reconciliations.

● Lead monthly P&L review meetings with business partners, explaining financial results.

● You will lead with the annual budget process and in-year forecasting for Global Partnerships, working with and challenging business partners.

● Carry out regular financial analysis for Global Partnerships channels including appraising potential new partners and helping to develop partnership plans.

● Develop and enhance our existing reporting framework for Partnerships to provide fresh insights and communicate these effectively with key stakeholders.

● Benchmark performance against external data.

Person Specification

Essential
● Part qualified and actively studying towards accountancy qualification - CIMA Preferred, ACCA considered
● Management accounting and variance analysis experience
● First-rate data handling and Excel modelling skills
● Analytical mindset and high attention to detail
● Able to represent Finance and build relationships across the business
● A proactive attitude and a sense of personal accountability - you need to 'lean in' and take the lead

*BSc Mathamatics and Economics or BSc in Mathamatics and Business is highly desirable*

● Retail / high street brand experience
● Proven investigative approach to your work
● Delivering a great Customer Experience (internally and externally) must be second nature to you
● Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment, while juggling multiple priorities
