Job description
Investigo are recruiting for a 6-month FTC Finance Project Manager position with a multinational Real Estate company, based in central London. They are looking for a qualified professional interim and the pro rata annual salary pays ~ £75,000 - £85,000.
Responsibilities
- Support the Group finance team through the year end process, a higher level of corporate activity and a period of process and senior leadership changes
- This includes finance side involvement in corporate transactions, contributing to the production of the annual report, and involvement in other ad hoc matters as they arise
- Support Head of External Reporting on corporate transactions
- Managing any finance side due diligence workstreams
- Preparing finance documents to submit to various parties, both technical and/or commercial in nature
- Ensuring documents are prepared and provided are consistent and to a high standard
- Contribute to the production of the annual report, including
- Preparing and posting quarterly consolidation journals
- Review team members' consolidation journals
- Preparing relevant note disclosures
- Performing reviews of annual report, including verification process
- Provide support for technical issues as they arise, including the preparation of accounting position papers
- Inputting into finance process changes as well as taking the lead on certain change projects
- Involvement in other ad hoc projects as required
Role requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) with minimum 5 years PQE;
- Experience in an operational business (real estate is a plus)
- Ability to co-operate effectively with the wider finance team and the business as a whole
- Ability and gravitas to communicate effectively within the business and with financial and non-financial individuals, both in writing and verbally
- Ambitious, highly driven and confident self-starter, able to manage a range of complex issues and project simultaneously
- Very strong technical accounting skills, specifically IFRS
