Financial Controller

Investigo are recruiting for a Financial Controller for an exciting 6-month Fixed Term Contract that has strong potential to move to permanent, for a multinational business based in Middlesex. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your skills within a progressive and commercial environment.

The role is paying from £50,000 - £60,000 pro rata, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Propagate finance principles within the operational environment to improve financial awareness
• Be the primary contact for operations stakeholders and improve compliance with finance processes
• Provide constructive challenge to operational stakeholders
• Support and enhance decision-making within the operation by partnering regional directors and providing quantitative support
• Collaborate with other business areas as necessary to drive value
• Produce, in partnership with the commercial business partner, high quality short- and long-term financial forecasts together with clearly documented assumptions.
• Develop, maintain and improve an operations dashboard identifying performance against critical success factors
• Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required
• Ensure control processes are complied with and deliver improvements as required
• Provide articulate and timely commentary
• Provide financial leadership to two AP operators and a team of eight operational administrators

Role requirements

• Qualified CA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA
• Proven technical and business partner skills with the ability to remain effective under pressure
• Advanced understanding of financial management and financial accounting
• Strong leader with experience ensuring team delivery when working to tight deadlines
• Experience of investigation and analysis of financial issues and evidence of detailed and precise report writing
• Excellent organisational skills and experience implementing change
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
