Job description

A position has arisen for a Financial Reconciliation Administrator within the Financial Control Team of my well known client. The overall purpose of the role is to be responsible for all aspects of handling client related financial transactions within the business, including, but not limited to, money movements, settlements, and distributions and reporting.

6 month contract

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and record all bank activity, on a daily basis, including incoming direct debits, BACS, etc and sending daily reports to the relevant administration teams.

Ensure all investments are placed by the cut off times and within the allocated time frames.

Finalise and record outgoing transfers to investment accounts. Coordinate closely with Investment Managers to ensure that appropriate investment made, updating relevant spreadsheets, updating system and ensuring that the administration teams are aware

Reconcile movements to all bank accounts on a daily basis and investigate or chase any differences.

Track any exception processing and liaise with the Administration teams to ensure accurate postings to the systems.

Develop and maintain calendars and checklists to ensure that all tax filings, payments and/or reimbursements are made.

Assist with the preparation of management and financial reports as required

Organise and prioritise own work, ensuring completion within quality standards and agreed service levels

Identify and communicate process improvements where possible.

Build and maintain excellent working relationships within the Financial controls team and wider business.
