Job description

Investigo are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a large Milton Keynes based Organisation who are looking to recruit a Global Financial Controls Manager, on a permanent basis.

The Global Financial Controls Manager role supports the global financial controls environment for the group; supporting to implement a single financial control framework for the group; designing global minimum standards for key financial controls using an appropriate control framework (e.g. COSO); proactively supporting the business in understanding and implementing the standards; monitoring compliance with the standards and supporting the business remediate control gaps or failures; support in designing reporting to deliver assurance to the Audit and Risk Committee on the control environment.
The Global Financial Controls Manager will work alongside the Head of Global Financial Controls (HGFC) to deliver an effective single financial control framework for BSI. They will be asked to contribute to solving complex problems across the finance function, providing best practice guidance and expertise. They will support in the design and implement global minimum standards for key financial controls and will continue to maintain the delegation of Authority ("DoA") and Segregation of Duties ("SoD") so that they remain appropriate and fit for purpose. They will support the HGFC in the Finance Evolution programme by ensuring that the control environment is considered and maintained throughout the multi-year programme.

This individual will have a high level of responsibility in all areas of financial controls; along with supporting in the preparation of communication to the finance leadership team and the Audit and Risk Committee.

The successful Candidate will be a Professionally Qualified individual who has trained in Practice and possesses a strong financial controls background. They will have experience of driving the controls framework agenda as well as leading on process improvement. This role will possess a high degree of autonomy, so Candidates need to be self starters who are comfortable working in a changing environment.

Our Client is offering a salary of £75,000 - £85,000 + 15% Bonus + Benefits.
