Group Financial Controller

Investigo are currently partnered with a growing real estate business based in Mayfair who are looking to hire a Group Financial Controller. Reporting to the CFO, this position will provide financial analysis, and insight to the senior team.

This role requires someone with exceptional communication skills, commercial acumen, highly analytical and with the drive to help provide the business with key insight and problem solving skills

The role will allow for some hybrid working but with an expectation of being on site in London for approx. 3 days per week

The ideal candidate will have corporate audit and financial reporting experience (in financial services or real estate) to oversee regulatory and Board reporting and will have an all-round modelling skill capability to manage budgeting and forecasting.

The role requires a qualified candidate suited to ACA qualified, with minimum 3 years experience in industry, and have strong supervisory and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Reporting
  • Responsible for quarterly finance Reporting to Board
  • Responsible for quarterly variance reports to Executive Area Managers & Finance Director
  • Responsible for monthly group consolidation packs to shareholder
  • Responsible for maintaining the Business plan & forecast model
  • Responsible for approving the Month-end subsidiary reporting process
  • Responsible for Year-end audit timetable, statutory and tax filing and external audit processes:
  • Financial statements under IFRS and FRS102 for 3 sub-group consolidations
  • Provide finance function for monthly payroll
  • Responsible for annual P11D and PSA reporting and payments
• Chair the weekly finance team department call
• Oversee approving VAT reporting
• Oversee Supplier & customer invoicing process
• Cash & banking management (oversee bank reconciliation approval & bank manager liaison)
