Group Reporting Manager

Investigo are recruiting a 6-month Group Financial Accountant role, with a central London PLC business, who boast a progressive and growing environment.

The role pays up to ~£500 per day, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Recent Annual Report exposure for a PLC
• Stats account preparation and production of detailed financials. Also involvement in the full Annual Report
• Exposure to working with auditor/actuary/lawyer/banker interface wrt y/end
• Experience of writing/refreshing y/e papers re going concern, asset justification of carrying value/impairment review
• Financial consolidation experience with a group function
• Local UK stats production, between 6 and 25 pages each
• Non-UK stats, review only - several sets
• Support the external financial reporting process including significant audit planning
• Assist in preparation of Investor relations documents
• Development, re-engineering and enforcement of financial processes and controls around the Group

Role requirements

• Hands-on approach, with the ability and willingness to roll-up sleeves and really get into the detail of the business.
• Have a problem solving, pragmatic approach to Finance.
• Energetic, enthusiastic and hard-working and will have a positive approach to challenges, thinking creatively to solve problems
• Qualified accountant, preferably ACA qualified from Big Four
• Recent experience of PLC reporting
• If from industry, recent experience of working in a team going through an audit process with one of Big Four firms in the UK
• Experience in implementing and embedding robust financial controls.
• Experience of multi-jurisdiction reporting
• Expert in Excel, proficient in pivot tables & lookups
