Head of Commercial Finance & Bids

A leading global Technology group based in London is currently looking to recruit a Senior Finance professional to support the FD & MD in new bids and proposals of up to £100m of new business per year. The role will have a heavy focus on bids, pricing and managing the Bid P&L.

Key responsibilities include;

• Leading on complex global bids (up to £100m pa) including being accountable for the commercials of the bid.
• Manage and have accountability of the commercial risk and opportunities associated with the bid
• Work with Legal team to write the commercial proposals for the bid ensuring appropriate controls are in place
• Lead the commercial negotiations along with the wider bid team.
• Involved in modelling out sensitivities based over the life of the contract
• Manage multiple bids
• Oversee the junior team members

The successful candidate;

• Qualified Accountant
• Prior bids experience
• Customer facing experience
• Strong Excel skills
• Ideally knowledge of the IT or Telco sector (Software or Hardware)
• Excellent communication skills
