HR Deployment Lead - Publishing
London, c£450, 9 months initially

Our leading Publishing client are going through a major transformation moving all business areas into One Vision.
This vacancy will be a part of the Enabling Programme (TEP), a major client specific transformation programme working to integrate finance, HR and supply chain data, processes, policy and systems to support the One vision.
Within the HR Team, this role will support the implementation and deployment of the new HR Shared Service Centres (SSC) organization and deployment of the Global HR Template.
The role will be responsible for the implementation of HR functionality into SSC and Pearson Countries, through new system functionality, content and all logistics for the deployment and go-live of the centres, across multiple Countries.
The role holder will be expected to collaborate with teams across the programme to implement the new HR Operating Model as directed by their HR Project Manager.
The role will report to the respective HR Project Manager on an operational basis and be part of the HR Programme team within the HR function and the wider Enabling Programme teams. For this role Fusion or Other Cloud HR solutions would be beneficial.

Minimum Required Skills:Experienced Implementation / Deployment Specialist

  • Experience delivering a large-scale complex change or HR transformation project
  • Strong understanding of HR operating models and tiered HR support systems
  • A track record of successful project delivery involving numerous stakeholders and delivery teams - IT, facilities, HR/Recruiting, SSC, etc
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Demonstrates the ability to effectively assess and resolve complex issues and problems
  • Background in HR / IT environments with strong communication, negotiation and Cross-cultural working skills
  • Global implementation knowledge essential
