    • Validate completeness of business requirements against accounting standards and technical papers.
    • Run workshops with business SMEs to identify and document requirements where details not sufficiently complete to implement/ validate required change.
    • Manage the identification of solutions for any missing requirements, which could involve assessment of current state (business process & systems) and engagement with business users/architects to propose practical solution options.
  • Define and validate 'end-end test' run book based on requirements, 'to be business processes' and business SME engagement.
  • Monitor completeness of 'end-end test' by monitoring run book activity completeness and accuracy.
  • Monitor simplifications and assumptions applied during testing and manage delivery risk by ensuring removal from subsequent test phases or/and highlighting concerns.
  • Produce status report and end of business test phase completeness report to programme governance bodies e.g. steering committee.
  • Ensure requirements are delivered as expected by (1) clarifying/documenting any incomplete requirements, (2) supporting questions from delivery teams; and (3) monitoring user acceptance testing (UAT)

Required experience:

  • Previous finance change delivery including regulatory or/and statutory change.
  • Process definition, requirements documentation, business process and data validation.
  • Involved in end-end project delivery
  • Lead a team of analysts or/and testers, providing guidance and support.
  • UAT and requirements traceability
  • NOTE - the role is INSIDE IR35
