Experienced IT Delivery Lead required for an immediate start!


Type: FTC
Duration: 12 months
Location: South West England
Salary: up to £47, 000
Hours: Full time

This role will require some on site presence in the early instances, to enable familiarity with various locations for equipment installation, but following that, the client are happy with mostly remote work.

- Ideally Local Government or wider Public sector experience

Overview:
The role is to procure and install updated hybrid tech in various locations across the the Council. This role will require the Lead to do the day-to-day work on; updating the Business Case, creating the procurement spec, dealing with suppliers during soft market test as well as rolling the ITT out, working in collaboration with procurement team. As well as this, the roles will entail the evaluation of bids and supervision of the winning bidder in their delivery.

This is not a generic Project Management role and requires someone to not only be technically savvy and competent but to be very delivery focussed, and enable projects to be completed with a hands on approach!

Duties:
- Take personal responsibility for grip and pace on small-to-medium sized IT and digital projects which need strong coordination without requiring a full project-management service.
- Covering a wide remit; including Line of Business System upgrades and replacements to delivering operational tech for hybrid and remote conferences and meetings.
- You will be fortunate enough to have day-to-day access to SME's across DDAT.
- The client require a dynamic and delivery focused Lead, to solve problems and set a high pace.
- You will need to stay organised and maintain a strong grip on governance.

- a strong track record of delivery in a real-world environment. Making a plan is one thing, but adapting to reality and making sure it delivers is another.
- the ability to be adept and skilled at communicating and influencing a wide range of stakeholders to help achieve your outcomes.
