Management Accountant

Based in Harlow

Salary £40,000 - £45,000

Playing an active role supporting the Financial Controller, you will be responsible to produce management accounts for one of the largest subsidiaries within the group. This is a good opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of producing a full set of accounts rather than just being part of a wider team.

We are happy to consider candidates who are part qualified or qualified by experience.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Preparation of the monthly management accounts within the timetable set
• US Dashboard reporting
• Running of month end reports and reconciliation to nominal accounts
• Capex and maintenance of fixed asset register
• Bi-monthly payroll and maintenance of payroll reconciliation
• Closing of month end provisions, prepayments and accruals
• Reconciliation and statement calculation with regards to US commissions
• Reconciliation and maintenance of Sales Representative's target trackers
• Reconciliation of stock valuation

Other responsibilities include:

• SPV company management accounts
• Flash reports
• Intercompany invoicing and maintenance of matrix
• US Tax compliance
• Budgeting

Education & Experience:

• Minimum of two years' experience of working at this, or a similar level
• Demonstration of strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and build relationships with internal and external personnel. Able to work within a team.
• Ability to plan and prioritise workload. Accustomed to working with and meeting time critical deadlines.
• Data inputting and analytical skill.
• Accustomed to Problem Solving.
• Self starter and proactive with good attention to detail.
