Job description

Exciting Property Accounting role in Manchester offering fantastic career progression in a dynamic Property Investment and Development company. Looking for applicants who have strong service charge experience and Qube knowledge.

  • Salary - £30,000 to £45,000 DOE
  • On site role - 5 days in the office
  • Location - Manchester

What can you expect?

You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient property accounts for an expanding portfolio of commercial assets.

  • Undertake all core estate accounting tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with internal accounting, legal and RICS regulations.
  • Coordinating accounting matters for the managed portfolio such as tenant account management, debtors, and financial analysis
  • Processing of tenant charges
  • Service charge accounting management.
  • Accounts payable and credit control on an interim basis
  • Suggesting improvements and changes to processes
  • Assisting property and facilities managers with finance-based matters relating to the managed portfolio
  • Adhering to internal deadlines

What experience will you bring?

  • Experienced property client/service charge accountant and wider accounting knowledge.
  • Demonstrable experience within commercial property/real estate industry.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Ability to maintain and build strong business relationships.
  • Confidence and ability to discuss technical matters directly and independently.
  • Organised collaborator with a 'can do' approach.
  • Qube experience.
  • AAT or equivalent would be an advantage.
  • Property accounting experience of ideally 3+ years.
