Senior Medical Writer / Associate Scientific Director - Publications - (Full-time, Remote)

Well-known, global Medical Communications Company has exciting opportunities for experienced, publications-focused Senior Medical Writers and ASD's.

These are remote, full-time home-based positions!

There are numerous exciting publications projects, covering a range of therapeutic areas, including CNS, Immunology, Oncology and Cardiology. These are hands-on positions, where you will be responsible for developing and/or over-seeing the development of a range of high-quality scientific content - by means of all necessary research, scientific writing, editing, and fact checking.

Work will include abstracts, posters, manuscripts, slide kits, educational content for advisory boards and promotional content for speaker training, digital programs and congress booths. You will conduct ongoing publication needs assessment and literature analysis, help develop strategic imperatives and may provide other publication planning activities.

You will maintain a strong understanding of relevant therapeutic areas, client products, and objectives, and will build professional relationships with key clients and healthcare KOL's.

Qualifications:

• Excellent medical writing skills
• Experience developing publications deliverables in a medical communication agency
• Am understanding of publications planning
• Familiarity with GPP guidelines, AMA style editorial guidelines, and ICMJE
• Relevant degree in Life Sciences Pharmacy, or Medicine
• Ideally some experience covering Oncology topics
