System Accountant

Investigo finance are currently recruiting for a System Accountant to join UK's largest and leading distributers within their field.

The System Accountant will be part of the team responsible for the Finance implementation of the Kerridge ERP system. Post go-live the System Accountant will be the finance super-user and responsible for reviewing margin and stock.

Key responsibilities:

• To be part of the finance team implementing the new Kerridge ERP system.
• Support the branch and operational teams to understand the implications of decisions being made on the finance elements of the system.
• Define and communicate the new system processes around AR/AP and Finance.
• Review and document the way stock and margin are calculated and how the system is configured with regard to these areas.
• Assist in the operation of the Kerridge system for the Irish business and help with reviewing the GRNI (Goods Received not Invoiced) and other key financial controls.
• Once the system has gone live the System Accountant will be finance super user for the Kerridge system and lead future system developments from a financial point of view.
• Assist in the preparation and reconciliation of the monthly balance sheet reconciliations and half year and Year end.
• Undertake any other tasks as required by the Head of Finance or Finance Director.

The successful candidate will have a finance background but not necessary a qualified accountant. It is key that you have extensive experience of dealing with integrated ERP system. You will need to be a strong communicator, clear decision maker and have the ability to manage and understand details as well as the high level/ strategic view. Knowledge of ERP system is KEY**

Kerrige is a bonus but no meant essential.

Head Office in Leicester - you are only required in the office 1 or 2 days a week depending on meetings
