Workday CoE Manager - 6 month contract (Inside IR35)

Our client requires a Workday CoE Manager to operate on a remote basis with one day per week in the London office.

Your role and responsibilities will be:

The CoE manager is the primary point of accountability for the overall service delivered by the specified applications to the business.

This includes:

  • Availability of the service at all times except where there is an agreed downtime scheduled
  • Changes are delivered in a controlled manner that allows speed of change to be balanced with risks
  • Incidents are dealt with according to levels agreed with the business and where this isn't met that effective remediation performed to ensure the business is not adversely impacted
  • Cost of ownership is managed within agreed budgets
  • Service reviews are conducted to ensure that the business are able to provide feedback to the service organisation and that the feedback is actioned appropriately
  • Suppliers are effectively managed and deliver according to agreed contracts and service levels

As a senior manager the CoE manager will need to understand how the service line functions and be able to support the CoE team to perform their roles and intervene on their behalf with other senior managers.

The CoE manager should also be able to function as part of a more senior team to support the Global Head - IT Applications at senior team level with setting and managing at a more strategic level

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the CoE team effectively including development of team members
  • Working at a management team level
  • Setting up and attending service reviews at business and supplier level
  • Developing and Reviewing service reports
  • Ensuring problem management actions are taken
  • Supporting projects working on the application platforms

£700-750 per day
