Accounts Assistant - Temp Contract

Investigo Finance are recruiting a Temporary Accounts Assistant for an SME business based in Sandy, Bedfordshire.

In the position of Temporary Accounts Assistant Sandy you will work within a close knit team reporting to the Financial Controller supporting month end processes to include:

• Assisting the AP clerk with accurate processing of the purchase ledger
• Ensuring that all supplier invoices and expenses are paid in an accurate and timely manner
• Weekly and monthly bank, balance sheet and supplier statement reconciliations
• Assisting with the Credit Control function of the business
• Present to the directors for payment regular bills for the company
• Preparing of Monthly PAYE/CIS for filing to HMRC
• Preparing quarterly VAT returns to HMRC
• Update the account details onto Sage line 50 software

The profile

The successful candidate will need to have previous accounting/ book keeping experience

Previous Sage line 50 Software system skills

intermediate Excel skills

Ability to adhere to tight month end deadlines

£11 - £12.50/ hour
