Business Solution Architect (Customer Technologies) - £85,000 + 20% bonus

Our client is a FTSE100 Pharma business and an instantly recognisable brand. Their new Consumer Health arm has ambition to be the world's leading pure play Consumer Healthcare company and with this in mind they are looking to bring on board the best talent to achieve their goals.

Their newly formed Architectural function is looking for a Business Solution Architect to join the Customer Product Family to design products and support the net revenue management and sales activities, with very significant emphasis on trade investment & promotions design.

The role is focused on architecting the complex product/data solutions and their integrations with a variety of supporting systems to build easy, simple, powerful tools to support key account managers, pricing analysts and sales management in planning, executing and evaluating trade investments.

In this global role you will define the technical strategy, data and system architecture to deliver the desired business outcomes in 150+ markets.

The role:

Reporting into the Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Support the product management function with the design and selection of trade investment/planning/analysis tools and related data management and sales tools.
  • Creation of the overall architecture documentation outlining the solutions relating to TIM across the Consumer Healthcare landscape, including building business and data asset catalogs to provide visibility of key assets and their supported systems.
  • Build requirements backlog outlining current and future requirements for TIM related systems and risk logs outlining current and future potential risks.
  • Represent Consumer Healthcare Technology in architecture discussions / decisions across multiple overlapping projects.

The candidate:

In order to be considered for this role, you will have the following experience:

  • Good understanding of Trade Promotions and commercial/sales business processes - ideally globally and in go-to-market models (eg, direct and/or indirect, modern and/or general trade).
  • Solid experience as a Solution Architect within an entrepreneurial and fast-moving environment where working with concepts and inspiring product teams is critical to success
  • Experience in architecture definition and technical leadership in a broad range of CPG/FMCG solutions and extensive experience with integration of software solutions in enterprise IT
  • Senior stakeholder management including heads of/directorship/board
