Description/Comment:
The Enabling Program is simplifying how our employees work, by introducing new, globally consistent HR, finance, procurement, supply chain, and rights and royalties solutions, which will be delivered in 'Waves' over the next couple of years. It will help to unite employees around the world, enabling us to operate as a truly global organization, and ensure that the company is fit for the future.

Role Overview and Purpose:
This role will work closely with the TEP Program Communication Lead, Change Lead/s and project team members to manage the communication for the HR Waves and projects that will impact employees globally. These Waves and projects will include but will not necessarily be limited to those relating to the deployment of a new, global approach to HR, introducing different ways of working, including the related support model.

The role will be responsible for:

  • Planning, developing and delivering internal Wave-specific communication activities, following the Program Communication approach and working directly with the relevant change lead/s;
  • Ensuring all internal communications and content are consistent with the program and businesses overarching narrative, tone, messaging and visual identity;
  • Measuring the effectiveness of communication and key stakeholder engagement activities, and reporting on this, as needed. The role will report to the HR Program Manager and be based in our 80 Strand office in London. Key Program Challenges

  • Some out of hours may be required to fulfil international working.
  • Some travel may be required. All travel will be in line with company's travel policy (available on request).


Minimum Required Skills:
SMART Deliverables:
Production of overarching program and Wave-specific communication products, including, but not limited to:

  • Written communications to impacted employees, key stakeholders, as needed Briefing packs and leader talking points
  • Content for intranet and externally accessible sites, incl. blog posts, articles, videos, animations
  • Monitoring intranet spaces for comments and questions, and developing quick, accurate responses.
  • Ensuring all local internal content are consistent with the program and the company's overarching narrative, tone, messaging and visual identity.
  • Measuring the effectiveness of communication and key stakeholder engagement activities, and porting on this, as needed.

Skills/Experience:

  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to absorb large amounts of complex information and simplify for a broad employee audience.
  • Adept at working at pace and under pressure, and in managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision, and to adapt to changing briefs.
  • Excellent Adobe Creative Suite (in particular, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Experience in content management systems, including - ideally - Jive-n.
  • Filming and video editing skills, and - ideally - animation (drag and drop) software skills.
  • Confident presentation skills.
  • Strong experience of delivering communications for large-scale change programs, ideally with the introduction of new technology.Experience of working in a global, matrix environment.
  • Experience in developing and executing detailed tactical communication plans, with an ability to think strategically.
  • Experience in measuring communication effectiveness.
