SKILLS

• Commercial Data Science experience - 3+ years
• Machine Learning
• Python
• AWS
• Strong planning, communication and commercial awareness
• Ability to communicate technical concepts / key insights to non-technical Stakeholders
• Any experience with Big Data (Hadoop, Spark, Jupyter, Zeppelin etc.) is an advantage but not essential
• Any Deep Learning, Neural Networks or NLP experience is considered a bonus

TASKS

• Work within an advanced R&D innovation team.
• Apply advanced statistical & analytical approaches to Big Datasets to service actionable insights which can improve operational efficiencies and have a positive commercial impact on the wider Customers Business Unit
• Inform senior stakeholders of key strategic insights and business decisions.
• Help create 'next best action capabilities' for project contact centres.
• Drive the technical solutions for POC projects, experiments and trials using advanced analytics and Machine Learning - utilising Python to build rules & ML models.
• Develop descriptive, predictive and prescriptive models which utilise supervised or unsupervised Machine Learning algorithms.
• Support the upcoming migration to a more sophisticated AWS cloud environment.
