External Reporting Coordinator

Investigo are delighted to be exclusively supporting a large Milton Keynes based Client with their recruitment of an External Reporting Co-Ordinator, on a permanent basis.

The External Reporting Coordinator is ultimately responsible for all duty payments and controls. They are responsible for the upkeep of all Duty accounting records including the internal control Process coupled with the preparation of returns and payments to HMRC. The role will actively monitor, prepare, and instruct Payments and Journals as required into the financial ledgers to ensure accurate reporting of Duty and all Tax related returns and payments. The External Reporting Coordinator will need to be prepared for Customs and Excise Audits that are held periodically at the request of HMRC. The role will also be responsible for query resolution and be there for advice and support to the business and indirect tax team. They will also responsible for the cash forecasting of HO10 Tax payments to treasury

The successful Candidate will be a Professionally Qualified individual with a strong Statutory and Tax reporting background. They will possess excellent accounting and controls experience, as will as sound knowledge of SAP. This role is likely to suit a candidate who is looking to move from Practice to a role in Industry.
