Finance Director

The Finance Director will work closely with the Managing Director to help him achieve the ambitious growth plans of the business. This will involve

• Managing a small team of c. 4 in finance
• Prepare and deliver annual budgets and forecasts. Take ownership of formulating the annual budget, drive discussion and decision making around setting annual budgets and forecasts
• Support the Board to develop, implement and monitor strategic growth plans
• Assess risk and opportunity and provide the business with concise, accurate, and timely information concerning past, current, and forecasted business performance - providing solutions to foreseen changes
• Own and contribute to the production of Monthly Board/Management Team Reports as well as participating and delivering key presentations on performance in Management Team meetings
• Ensure that meaningful and accurate reports are produced each month to support the performance management of the business
• To construct detailed financial models and processes capturing the profitability of the business
• Partner with and educate Management Team in expectations; best practice, financial understanding in order to drive the business forward and maximise profit

This is a challenging role as we will require somebody who is happy to get involved with the detail but also comfortable providing commercial support and challenging assumptions of the senior management team.
