Job description

Investigo are recruiting to a 6-month Finance Manager position with a multinational Real Estate company, based in central London. They are looking for a qualified professional interim and the daily rate on offer stretches from £325 - £375.

Responsibilities

  • Business partner to other departments develop a strong working relationship with key financial reporting stakeholders
  • Establish meaningful KPIs (acquisitions, development and operations).
  • Set deliverables and manage the relationship with an outsourced accountancy provider.
  • Work with internal and external tax advisers to ensure tax compliance in UK.
  • Assist in preparation of statutory accounts and the audit of companies where necessary.
  • Prepare budgets and reforecasts for the property companies and management companies.
  • Manage all UK banking relationships and payment processes.
  • Responsibility for the production, review and delivery of timely and accurate management accounts and investor reports.
  • Development and maintenance of financial processes and controls.
  • Develop an understanding of the business performance, trends and external market dynamics
  • Assist in new territory operational set up by implementing the relevant systems and processes.
  • Line management responsibility for a management accounts team.
  • Report to Senior Management Team on a weekly basis.

Role requirements

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) with minimum 3 years PQE;
  • Experience in an operational business (real estate is a plus);
  • Experience of people management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to partner effectively with other business units in driving improvements to operational finance processes;
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and hard-working and will have a positive approach to challenges, thinking creatively to solve problems
  • Strong analytical and IT skills, including advanced Excel;
  • Excellent attention to detail whilst maintaining the ability to see the big picture
  • Experience of managing business change / growth, including evidence of process improvements implemented
