Finance Manager

Our client, a large and successful Distribution Business with a great track record for growing and developing staff are looking to recruit a Finance Manager to be based in their new offices in Coventry.

As the Finance Manager you will report directly into a highly supportive and well-rounded Head of Commercial Finance. In this role the main focus is to add significant value to the business by producing and communication high quality financial and management information.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

• Prepare accurate financial accounts for the distribution centre.
• Provide weekly and monthly commentaries on performance issues and trends.
• Communicate financial analysis of performance to the senior management team and other operational managers.
• Lead the preparation of robust budget and realistic quarterly forecasts for the business.
• Evaluate business proposal, prepare Capital proposals for evaluation, manage the Capital process and track approvals.
• Identify potential weaknesses and cost reduction opportunities in the distribution centre procedures.
• Maintain and improve internal procedures.
