Finance Process Accountant

£70K - 12 month FTC

Based in Hatfield (will be remote initially)

Investigo are pleased to be supporting this widely recognised business with their search for a Finance Process Accountant. They are currently embarking on a major finance transformation programme and you will be responsible for designing and implementing finance processes in line with the group financial controls.

We are seeking an individual who is a qualified accountant who has a strong technical understanding, but more recently has delivered process flows.

Working with a number of stakeholders you will aim to transition the end to end process, implement change and train the wider business.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Responsible for driving process improvements across all finance workflows e.g. order to cash, procure to pay, record to report etc
• Responsible for working across Finance, and the wider business, to deliver the required training to embed processes and controls
• Presentation to Senior Finance Leadership in relation to Financial Processes and related controls
• Identification of process deficiencies and leading on the design and delivery of remediation plans
• Hands on implementation of solutions where required to aid the business
• Alignment of process flows with the Group's Financial Control Framework
• Inputting into the vision for future development of the Group's financial control environment
