Finance Project Lead - Insurance - Qualified Accountant - £460p/d PAYE - Remote Working

A leading Insurance business is currently recruiting for a Finance Project Lead to join their team as they have significant finance transformation being delivered across their finance function around financial operations and controls.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing finance leadership and support on various finance projects, working with the change team, other areas of the business and third parties on enabling the delivery of new processes.

Responsibilities will include:

• Take a leading role in the delivery of a wide range of finance projects including but not limited to moving General Ledger systems, payment processes and decommissioning legacy systems.
• Work with change team, finance team and other business areas to design and develop new and revised processes and controls, complete testing and documentation, and roll out to business
• Driving the improvements of reconciliation processes and standards. This will include looking at process design, documentation and training, and supporting others in the delivery of improvements.

Essential for the role:

• Experience of being involved and delivering on finance projects
• Insurance / Financial Services essential
• Qualified Accountant
• Very strong communication skills and proven experience working with senior stakeholders
