Finance Report Writer - Workday

My well-known client of mine is seeking a Workday Report Writer to join their team on a permanent basis. Based in a bustling office reporting into the Business Intelligence Manager, this role is suitable for an ambitious candidate with a strong background in financial reporting and system knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new Workday reports and dashboards to support the delivery of finance processes and support decision making
• Make changes to existing reports as required
• Developing and maintaining calculated fields where needed
• Complete user acceptance testing before publishing reports
• Follow the process for publishing dashboards through the development cycle, utilising the appropriate Workday tenants
• Develop expertise in data storytelling & visualisation for effective communication of financial performance
• Collaborate with other BI Analysts to achieve completion of sprint backlog
• Provide BI and Finance Analysts Managers and analysts with ad hoc support
• Positively contribute to a team culture of support & collaboration

Successful candidates:

• Experience using Workday previously
• Experience within a finance function
• Understanding of relational databases and cloud solutions
