Financial Accountant

My client is a privately-owned international business who are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team in Oxford.

This role will support the Financial Accounting Manager with the financial reporting ensuring detailing of both the P&L and balance sheet.

Key accountabilities:

• You will take ownership of monthly reconciliations, balance sheet for the company and associated subsidiaries.
• Producing financial statements alongside IFRS, including the liaising with external auditors/ regulators.
• Liaise with regional FDs to ensure timely completion of FRS102 consolidation packs in line with accounting calendar.
• Provide Variance analysis on submitted packs vs budget/forecast
• Preparation of UK statutory accounts.
• P&L reporting and regular financial performance reporting.
• Liaison with Group Tax and provision of supporting analysis.

The successful candidate with be a fully qualified chartered accountant (ACA or ACCA) that is highly academic. Detailed knowledge of stat accounting, internal controls and balance sheet reconciliations is highly beneficial in order to succeed in this role.
