Financial Performance Analyst

Investigo are recruiting to a 6-month FTC for a Finance Performance Analyst to join a prestigious property company, based in central London. They are looking for a finalist with Power BI expertise and strong problem-solving skills.

The salary on offer stretches from £50,000 - £55,000, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis and work closely with business stakeholders to drive timely and appropriate insight and support operational business decision-making process
• Collects, collates, cleanses and interprets data to derive meaningful and actionable insights
• Work with data from a variety of sources to identify, analyse and report on trends
• Identifies the right data sources and then validates and understands how to interpret the results
• Uses the most appropriate medium to visualise data to tell compelling and actionable stories relevant for business goals
• Undertake ad hoc financial analytical support to the Finance FM/ Ops support function
• Assisting the FM Finance/Ops teams with interpretation of the business plan and understanding the impact of the key strategic drivers and operational efficiency plans on the annual budget for the zone
• Assist in the coordination and consolidation from the zonal teams on tactical and strategic reviews of the business, drivers, and service lines
• Enhance and streamline reporting activities through analytical tools such as Power Query/ Power Pivot and Power BI
• Drive continual enhancement and process optimisation to improve our capability to deliver relevant business and financial analysis

Role requirements

• Part-Qualified / Finalist / professional finance qualification (CIMA, ACCA)
• Extensive knowledge of financial accounting principles and techniques
• Delivering analytical solutions and insight across large and complex base
• Detailed knowledge of analytical solutions such as Power Query/ Power Pivot/ Power BI /Tableau
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a finance analytics or commercial role, experience of manipulating and analysing large and complex data sets
• Experience of financial modelling and analysis, ability to challenge business assumptions and assess business impacts
• Expert level of Excel skills, ability to use analytic tools such as Power Query/Power Pivot and Power BI
• Strong interpersonal skills for interaction with senior members of the Group and remote Finance teams
