Financial Reporting Manager - PE backed Online/Tech

Investigo are delighted to partnering with an Online/Tech based travel company in their search for a Technical Reporting Manager.

JOB PURPOSE

To provide technical support to the finance team to ensure we operate in compliance with IFRS and best practice in the reporting and control environment. Manage the production of statutory technical financial reporting requirements

KEY RESULT AREAS

• Clean results and feedback on management papers from auditors on technical areas
• Specialist in all technical financial reporting and governance queries
• Empower reporting team with technical guidance and support
• Delivery of financial statutory accounts for all group entities
• Building a framework for quarterly reduced financial statements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Essential:

• Sound understanding of IFRS
• Experience with interpreting technical accounting standards and preparing robust management papers
• Experience and attitude of continuous process improvement
• Is a self-starter with clear and concise communication styles
• Ability to appreciate business implications and bigger picture alongside understanding the detail of the processes
• Qualified accountant

Desirable:

• G Suite experience
• Experience working in the tech/travel sector
