Job description

Investigo are delighted to be partnering with a leading PE backed company in their search for a new FP&A Manager. The group is owned by its original founders and senior management following the buyout of a leading PE house. It is likely a new PE partner will be brought in as a shareholder in the next 12-24 months. The company have recently invested in a new ERP system to support the next phase of growth in revenue and profitability to capitalise on the growing market.

The Role

We are looking for a FP&A and Corporate Manager to join our Finance Team. You will be an integral part of the finance team, working closely with senior management the commercial team and wider business to continue to develop the FP&A capability and the modelling/reporting needed to support future corporate transactions.

As part of the role, you will be required to:

  • Work with senior leadership and key stakeholders to develop operational and corporate KPIs following the implementation of the group's new ERP system, Financial Force.
  • Take ownership of the compiling and analysis of monthly management information
  • Take ownership of the budgeting process and development of agile reforecasting capability
  • Cashflow modelling and forecasting
  • Develop complex models to support corporate activity
  • Liaise with the business and wider finance team to compile financial reporting and analysis to support corporate activity and diligence processes.
  • Detail headcount reconciliation and reporting
  • Work closely with the commercial & management accounting team to facilitate the distribution of quality data for regular and ad hoc analysis
  • Adhoc deep dive analysis to help understand business drivers
  • Establish overall standards capable of a due diligence process

The Requirements

  • CA, ACCA or equivalent (min 3 years post qualified)
  • Vision of what a quality finance function looks like
  • M&A or corporate transaction experience preferred
  • Experience/gravitas to be able to manage a department and liaise with external advisors
  • Communication skills to liaise with advisors and business service functions
  • Self-starter and ability to work independently with little guidance to support junior staff as well as senior management
  • Willingness to support team "with sleeves rolled up" in any area as necessary
  • Accurate and methodical with attention to detail
  • Dynamic and energetic team player
