Front Office FX Test Analyst/Business Analyst

My client, an Investment Bank based in London is looking to engage the services of a Tester/Business Analyst with deep understanding of test planning, creation & execution along with knowledge of FX products and work flows.

The role will sit within Sales IT and will be responsible for Sales tooling leveraging the Capital Markets data framework and e-Business pricing and execution capabilities.

• As a test analyst you will work closely with the FX front office (Sales and Trading) and project BAs to understand and drive to delivery the requirements for the evolution of the Sales tooling so as to improve Sales capability. This is a hands-on testing role with strong focus on automation and efficiency.
• You will have a thorough understanding of testing combined with a strong foundation in financial markets (particularly FX). We are looking for someone to work closely with the development teams in an Agile environment, so proven track record of implementing BDD in Agile environments is important.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and validate user interface specifications
• Definition of the test strategy and preparation of the test suite
• Participate in the integration testing and organise / lead the regression & UAT campaigns
• Coordination across the different teams for end to end environments and testing
• Working with developers to build and maintain a reusable automation library

Experience Required

• FX Sales voice trading work flows and/or electronic trading
• Testing and validating deliveries
• Test automation, BDD & working within Agile teams
• Working with both vendors and in-house development teams
• Business Analysis

Skills & Knowledge Requirements

• Deep understanding of test planning, creation & execution
• Knowledge of FX products and work flows

• Comfortable in collating and reporting data in Excel
• Knowledge of pre-trade regulatory requirements and obligations (primarily MiFID)
