Global Credit Control Manager

Investigo have exclusively partnered with an exciting, growing IT Technology business based in Watford to recruit for a Global Credit Control Manager on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting into the group financial controller you will be responsible for collecting, analysing & reporting debt. This role would suit someone who has had previous experience collecting debt from re sellers & someone who is firm but is able to build and maintain strong relationships. There are no direct reports, but you will be managing the whole credit control process. Salary is paying £55,000.

Key Responsibilities; -

• Ensuing that all re-sellers across the globe are paying to agreed payment terms
• Regularly review the aged debt listing for any bad debt risk
• Continually working to improve the bad debt levels
• Work with Sales Managers to ensure that sizeable orders reviewed to ensure payments are received on time
• Accurate and timely completion of credit analyses
• Assist sales and deal negotiations
• Working to improve and streamline processes
• Identify and build ongoing relationships with finance contacts at all key re-sellers
• Promptly identify slow payment warning signs and tactfully put in place mitigating controls

The Ideal Candidate; -

• Worked in a tech industry
• Experience in collecting from re-sellers
• Excellent communication skills both verbal & written
• Firm but can build and maintain strong relationships
• French language desirable or any other European languages is a plus
• Ability to get a deep understanding of the customer cash collection process and improve the efficiency of this process
• Ability to work with non-financial staff to improve system processes
