Group Controls Manager

Investigo are pleased to be supporting a multi-national construction group with sites all across Europe. Due to continued growth they are looking to recruit a Group Controls Manager into their UK Group Finance function. This role has scope to be based remotely but with travel expected across UK.

This role will be responsible for implementing, directing and overseeing an internal controls program across the Group. This will be a great opportunity for someone to learn and grow with practical experience on how to implement a control environment in readiness for UK SOX.

Key Duties:

• Promote controls awareness and accountability across the Group
• Strengthen Key Controls Framework
• Perform walkthroughs of processes and controls and testing
• Support development of relevant guidance and policy with Group
• Provide control guidance for remediation of controls and evaluate deficiencies identified across the Group
• Help remediate both internal and external audit agreed actions
• Working with Internal Audit and external auditors to ensure our Key Controls Framework meets the needs of the business and ensures an efficient external audit process
• Implement a UK SOX controls framework including all initial planning, documentation and delivery
