Head of Financial Planning and Analysis - FP&A

An exciting opportunity for a Head of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to join a marketing leading FTSE business based in Watford.

Our client are looking for a progressive and driven Head of FP&A on a permanent basis to lead the team through a period of exciting growth.

Whilst working alongside the Financial Director and supporting the board you will be required to provide first class financial planning & analysis to the business and assist the business with strategic initiatives including mergers and acquisitions.

Day to responsibilities and remit of the Head of FP&A will be:

• Manage and develop a team
• Leadership for the Budgeting and forecasting
• Business partnering to the board and ongoing development of business KPI's
• Provision of analysis across various revenue streams to increase profit and minimise risk
• Investment appraisal, monthly reporting on overheads and costs along with commentary and recommendations
• Continuous development of the financial planning process and business intelligence tools and supporting M&A activity

The ideal candidate will be a technically strong and commercially minded qualified Accountant, ACA, CIMA or ACCA with a minimum of circa 6 years post qualified experience.

You will need to lead and be hands on and will have a track record in driving commercial decisions and leading the FP&A function within a faced paced business.
