Head of Financial Reporting

A Head of Financial Reporting is required for maternity leave at a well-known PLC who are number one in their chosen market. The business offer a fast paced, entrepreneurial culture coupled with a diverse role offering unrivalled exposure across the business

Whilst reporting the Head of Financial Reporting will manage a small team and supporting the wider group with process and systems improvements you will be accountable for the following:

Oversight of the group accounting and financial reporting, managing and developing your team, enhancing the forecasting and budgeting tools, acting as contact to the auditors and taking ownership for technical accounting relating matters including IFRS, supporting the business units with day to day accounting queries, Fixed asset accounting, ownership of the balance sheet and ledgers for the shared area, supporting IT, and operations with accounting matters whilst ensuring consistency for consolidation purposes, consolidating and bring to life reporting to assist in future planning and decision making, ownership of Statutory accounting and ad-hoc project work across the group.

The ideal candidate will be a technically capable qualified Senior Finance Manager ACA or ACCA ideally from a practice background looking for a 2nd or 3rd role in industry.
