Head of Payments screening

A large global bank is seeking a sanctions specialist to come in and run their 1LOD payments screening team. This is a great role working with a very strong and capable team. Culturally the firm is known for been down to earth, collaborative and with a great compliance culture.

As the Global heaf of Payments screening, you will:

• Lead the Payments Screening function within the bank and am responsible for designing & implementing Sanctions controls within the bank
• Lead the sanctions teams in London, Asia (Hong Kong & Singapore) & New York regions who are responsible for real time sanctions alert investigations
• Draft and maintaining all the Sanctions Screening procedures and providing training to all the screening teams globally.
• Provide assurance that the screening software is working effectively through testing of Fuzzy Logic, algorithms, filter settings, rules and suppression lists.
• Undertake on-going filter tuning by creating tuning rules & internal list of Good Guys
