Management Accountant

Investigo have partnered with a leading Property firm based in Oxford to recruit for a Management Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for a challenging role in a great working environment where you can learn, grow and develop. The salary is dependent on experience between, £40,00-£45,000

Reporting into the Senior Management Accountant and Financial Controller, the candidate will:

• Assist with the preparation and timely production of monthly management accounts
• Take responsibility for a variety of balance sheet / P&L areas
• Prepare board papers and sales & management packs
• Review the accuracy and completeness of payment runs
• Production of internal VAT return
• Become involved in a variety of ad-hoc work
• Responsibility for the production and management of timely/accurate/compliant monthly financial results (P&L and balance sheet) and risk analysis.
• Take responsibility for the production of key financial indicators. Analyse and provide recommendations to site management, to optimise the Company's performance and position
• Leading the preparation of budgets and forecasts as per group timetable.
• Provide technical and general direction and support to two aspiring accountants, based on-site

Key Skills:-

• Be part qualified CIMA / ACCA
• Be experienced in the above processes
• Good academics with a financial grounding
• Experience of interpretation of financial information to support management decision making
• Capable of reviewing and analysing complex financial data & propose/pilot solutions to problems
• Proactive attitude, organised, attention to detail, strong systems and Excel skills
• Good interpersonal skills to build relationships internally and externally
