Management Accountant

Investigo Finance are partnering with an expanding client based near Peterborough recruiting a Management Accountant.

In the position of Management Accountant you will be responsible for the delivery and accuracy of the monthly management accounts, development of the systems and processes in this are and be an integral part of the monthly reporting, annual planning and forecasting processes as well as ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions. Key duties to include:

• Responsible for the delivery of accurate financial results as part of the monthly reporting cycle.
• Detailed financial analysis and presentation of financial information to support decision making.
• Prepare and present all functional overheads of the business unit and manage central accounting journals.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and presentation of complex financial information to enable senior management to make timely decisions.
• Work closely with the Divisional senior management to help drive business performance and provide high quality financial information.
• Maintain adequate balance sheet controls and manage periodic balance sheet reviews, to ensure the business assets and liabilities are correctly stated.
• Ensure compliance with all Group Accounting Policies.
• Maintain a robust financial control framework across the finance community.
• Audit liaison with external and internal auditors and the preparation of audit files.
• Remain up to date on changes to accounting standards and reporting requirements, to ensure the Business Unit remains compliant.

The Profile

The successful candidate will need to be either ACCA/ CIMA or ACA late stages or finalist or Qualified by Experience.

Experience of working in a fast paced environment and ability to prioritise a changing workload and use initiative.

Good communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information with an eye for detail

Day Rate

£120 to £175 per day
