Management Accountant - Active Studier

Our client is looking for a permanent management accountant to be part of their exciting growth.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an active studier either ACCA or CIMA.

You will be responsible for:

• Assist with the preparation and timely production of monthly management accounts
• Take responsibility for a variety of balance sheet / P&L areas
• Support preparation of board papers and management packs
• Complete Land, Build and Marketing cost reconciliations
• Monthly production of internal VAT
• Ownership of Accounts Payable function on interim basis
• Become involved in a variety of ad-hoc work
• The candidate will be involved in monthly variance analysis for the balance sheet and p&l and help to produce reports for the board papers.
• Additionally, the candidate will assist with improving existing reporting formats and controls, as well as working on various ad-hoc requests.

The accounting areas the candidate will be working on could include:

• Stock & WIP
• Fixed assets
• Cash and banking
• Accruals / provisions

There will also be a requirement for the candidate to take responsibility for the Accounts Payable function.
