Payroll & Pensions Manager
up to £60k - 6 month FTC
Hybrid Working

I am currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll & Pensions Manager for a 6 month Fixed Term contract, the role offers Hybrid working. You will have experience of leading a team in a complex environment, acting as internal advisor to colleagues and managers on all payroll matters as well as experience of supporting the development and implementation of payroll strategies, plans, policies and procedures.

Key essential requirements for this role are as follows:

Expertise/capability in Payroll, evidenced through an appropriate professional qualification such as CIPP.
Experience of leading a team in a complex environment, acting as internal advisor to colleagues and managers on all payroll matters.
Previous experience of supporting the development and implementation of payroll strategies, plans, policies and procedures.
Good working knowledge of payroll legislation and pension regulations
Experience of finding pragmatic solutions, often working against conflicting priorities
Detailed knowledge of iTrent or other payroll systems
Knowledge of Civil service /government departments and transfer related Processes - Desirable
