Pricing Specialist

Our client is a multinational software company looking for a Pricing Expert to lead their global team of specialists in supporting and implementing a new and ambitious corporate strategy.

The firm is considered a market-leader within the technology industry and has a proven track-record of growth over the years. They specialize in the provision of ERP software and are now looking to further their competitiveness through the growth of their SaaS division.

In this role, you would have the opportunity to play a leading role in implementing the firm's new corporate strategy and drive the pricing department in supporting this objective. This would be done through the development of stronger pricing capabilities and pricing governance across the organisation. The role can be based in locations across Europe. Additionally, you would have the choice of international travel as a part of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive pricing governance processes and strategies, including the deal desk
• Manage the value-based pricing function
• Take ownership over pricing for all product lines
• Lead innovative practices that dive the firms SaaS strategy
• Direct and support pricing analysis on a global scale
• Lead pricing projects and maximise revenue & perceived customer value
• Take responsibility of the pricing team's continuous development
• Ensure the pricing function becomes a priority through day-to-day activities
• Collaborate with internal departments to develop gross revenue performance, simplify pricing and develop CPQ capability

Necessary Skills:

• 8+ years of experience in a commercial role, with proven impact on business performance
• Experience in an analytical and data-centric environment
• Experience with multi-currency pricing and building pricing frameworks
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Customer centric mindset
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, ideally across functions and geographies
