TITLE:

Principal Scientist - Cheminformatician

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Key contributor to DNA-encoded library platform strategy and its implementation
  • Lead the computational efforts to design DNA-encoded libraries
  • Acquire, develop, and/or implement computational tools and workflows
  • Serve as a scientific leader and cheminformatics expert in DNA-encoded libraries and provide recommendations regarding emerging external capabilities
  • Collaborate with external groups for the development of novel algorithms to enhance computational capabilities for DNA-encoded libraries

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  • PhD in cheminformatics, computational chemistry or related field
  • In depth knowledge and 5 years' hands-on experience in all computational aspects of the DNA-Encoded Library platform, including library design, data analysis, hit triage, is required
  • Experience in programming languages such as C++ and/or Python is required
  • Technical expertise in developing cheminformatics protocols using workflow tools and coding toolkits
  • Track record of successful delivery of compound library design and chemistry technology platforms
  • Experience in synthetic chemistry or medicinal chemistry
