Product Owner - Financial Services, Birmingham, Hybrid Working

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Product Owner to join a business who are investing and growing their digital capability. As Product Owner, it will be your responsibility to lead and specify a product vision and roadmap aligned to the business's digital priorities, such as customer acquisition or customer self service. Through clear ownership of the related product backlog you will set the priorities and direction, driving delivery with the agile scrum team. With a clear focus on delivering value for the business and its Customers, you will constantly look to optimise existing journeys and identify opportunities for new ones. This role is accountable for driving digital growth aligned to its respective product, with targets aligned to overall digital growth, utilisation of services and customer satisfaction.

The appointed candidate will bring previous experience of working as a Digital Product Owner, across Sales or Service disciplines with a strong understanding of agile approaches. You'll bring great stakeholder and communication skills and a strong, customer centric approach. Any experience of financial services or working in a regulated environment would be advantageous but not essential - you just need to be familiar with, or comfortable, working in a structured environment where there are standards and processes in place to ensure compliance.
