Project Analyst

A well know retail business are looking for a Project Analyst to support the Senior Finance Manager in delivering end-to-end financial planning and analysis for the investment portfolio. The role will be responsible for providing insightful business and analytical reporting and represents an opportunity to influence decisions and support the development of operating and financial plans.

Responsibilities

• Build the annual budget and five year plan
• Develop a cash flow model
• Provide analysis, interpretation and oversight of financial and operating performance
• Build effective business partner relationships with key stakeholders
• Working collaboratively with the Senior Finance Manager, Group Accountant and wider teams across the business
• Support senior management with financial modelling and interrogation of data
• Provide challenge and support for strategic projects
• Undertake strategic ad hoc project work as required

Ideal Candidate

• Accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or international equivalent)
• Experience in similar commercial finance roles.
• Advanced Excel skills and financial modelling are also essential
