Job description
SAP Test Manager
The test manager will play a key role in ensuring the solution meets business requirements by ensuring that a rigorous and effective testing programme is in place.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on development of the current Test Strategy - including all Unit testing, System integration testing, User acceptance testing, regression testing and performance testing across all environments, from development to production.
- Full ownership and oversight of standards and procedures for developing and maintaining test scenarios, test cases and test data
- Lead the design and planning for testing conditions, test scripts and test data sets during the ensuring appropriate and adequate coverage and control
- Collaborate with technical teams and PMO defining test environment requirements and subsequent set up
- Lead the creation of test plans in collaboration with 3rd parties and business teams
- Work closely with Third party IT service providers and country business user teams to properly plan, resource and monitor test activities
- Ensure accurate timely management reporting on test progress, test outcomes, success rates, issues and risks
- Establish defect management procedures
- Where required lead the test team and conduct tests as required
Experience
- Bachelor's degree & Prince 2 (or equiv)
- Previous experience in a Test Management role
- Experience of global, large scale, complex SAP implementations and transformation programmes
- Experience of managing testing for digital delivery in an agile project environment
- Demonstrated experience in System Integration and Software Development management, updated with current Cloud (SAP Cloud Platform) and Digital techniques
- Solid understanding of AGILE development methodologies
- Experience managing teams; remote management
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organisation skills with ability to manage multiple projects /responsibilities
- Excellent communication, influencing and presentations skills to both technical and non technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English language. Preferential working knowledge of other European languages (French, German, Spanish, etc.)
Salary -£65,000 - £85,000 (plus benefits package)
