Job description

My client a leading retailer based in Hertfordshire is looking to add a Transformation Process lead to their Group Transformation office on a permanent basis.

The client operates a series of large, automated Customer Fulfilment Centres to satisfy increasing demand from customers online and globally. As a result, a Group Transformation Office has been established to transform the business and develop the capabilities needed to design, build and run the Smart Platform for clients across the world.

What will you be doing?

  • Manage and lead process mapping with tangible and realistic improvement recommendations in line with our Group operating model design principles
  • Leading and facilitating workshops with subject matter experts to design processes, utilising experience and stakeholders to ensure that solutions are market-leading and fit for purpose
  • Support the capture of systems requirements of key processes
  • Facilitate the appointment and training of cross-functional process owners to ensure a culture of continuous process improvement is maintained
  • Identify gaps in capability required to deliver future-state finance processes
  • Work closely with transformation leads to ensure all process design work overseen aligns to business operating model and strategy

About you?

  • Knowledge of end-to-end process design, capture and improvement methodologies - e.g. lean six sigma
  • Workshop facilitation
  • Ability to coordinate and facilitate different groups to achieve consensus
  • Ability to understand and challenge expert opinions
  • Relationship & stakeholder management skills which inspire confidence in a manner that is inclusive and collaborative with the ability to influence in a confident, confidential and diplomatic manner
  • Energetic with a great deal of personal drive, enthusiasm and initiative
  • A strong bias for delivery and turning discussions and ideas into actions
  • Ability to respond quickly to changing priorities
  • Process design/capture of end-to-end cross-functional processes
  • Stakeholder engagement across all levels within a business
