Underwriting Analyst

Underwriting Analyst / Data / SQL / Specialty Binders / Delegated Authority / London

Our client a London market insurer has a requirement for an underwriting Analyst to join their City based team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleansing of Third party data, Broker/Coverholder/Binder BDX's or other data sources
• Preparation of account analysis files prior to contract renewals - focusing on key performance metrics
• Obtaining, reviewing and analysing weekly and monthly Management Information reports
• New business analysis to identify pricing adequacy for risks presented by the broker to the Underwriter
• Assist the Underwriters in minimising risk by ensuring the accurate analysis and ongoing monitoring of aggregate information.

Skills and Experience:

• Insurance experience
• Strong knowledge of insurance business practices focused on the London market, with delegated underwriting knowledge desirable.
• Familiarity with SQL
• Progress towards ACII desirable
